The majority of steampunk I’ve seen is just annoying and uncreative. Adding a zeppelin and making some historical figure into like, a bounty hunter or some shit to your story is boring, uninspired and beaten to death. Slapping some welding goggles onto a tophat is lame, gluing some gears to a trenchcoat just means you have access to a hardware store, and I just hate bronze.
